The Lodge

Totally refurbished in summer 2012, no expense has been spared on this two-bedroom Scandinavian-style, self-catering lodge.

It can sleep up to five people in luxury. The kitchen is fully-fitted and extensively equipped, and all furniture – from dressers to tables - is solid oak.

Double-glazed and centrally-heated throughout, it has views out of every window. All linen and towels are included, as are family games, books and a host more. In fact, all you need to bring along is a desire to relax.

We'll also leave you a welcome pack with everything you need to get your holiday started in style.

Entertainment:
The lodge has a TV (digital Freeview), DVD, CD, radio, IPod docking station together with a selection of books and board games.

Smoking:
Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the lodge.

Pets:
We love pets at the lodge, and are happy to provide you with a complimentary dog bed or puppy crate. We can also provide bedding if you wish (additional £3 per booking).

* Please keep pets off the furniture and out of the bedrooms
* Remove as much pet hair as you can upon departure.
* When on-site, please keep them on a lead anywhere outside your enclosed area.

Welfare of the livestock:
We know that most pets are a little 'excitable' (to say the least!) when in new surroundings, and especially around new animals. However, the health and wellbeing of all the animals is a paramount concern to us, so there are certain breeds of dogs that we will not allow at the lodge.

We would also ask that you do not bring a pet that you know will cause distress to children, horses, livestock and other, smaller, farm animals.

We are happy to chat and clarify if this affects you at the time of booking.

Guests with allergies:
The lodge accepts family pets, and other animals live at the farm. Although your lodge will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival, we cannot guarantee it will be 100% allergen-free. As a result, we will not accept any liability for any allergic reaction or suffering that you may incur during your stay.

"Thank you so much for a wonderful week. The lodge was lovely and kids were pooped by the end of every day. Loved the animals. Loved the days out. Loved the nights in. I can't think of anything other than… well, we loved it!"
